"She makes coverings for her bed ..." Proverbs 31:22
What is Nita Blankie?

I started making these Blankies for my friends about ten years ago, and they have always been a delightful and welcomed gift. My daughter's name, Allyson, is spelled with a 'y' and it's next to impossible to find anything personalized for her. The Blankie was the perfect answer and such a special keepsake.

The Blankies are embroidered with a name and a small design on the fleece side and Minkee or some other type of plush fabric for the backing. Ribbon loops are spaced around the outer edge, giving a baby something to play with or a loop to clip to a stroller so they won't fall off.

Most Blankies are approximately 30" x 30", but as each Blankie is unique, it may vary a few inches either way. You can choose the two colors YOU need for that special gift, perhaps to match the nursery. Email me at rdyefam@yahoo.com and I will be happy to work with you to make a very special gift if you 'Nita Blankie'!

Musical Snow globes

This was a fun little quilt I put together for a gift.
Our home is filled with snow globes during the Christmas season,
so it was hard to give this little quilt up!!!

Merry Christmas

Some stockings are just impossible to personalize without taking them apart and starting completely over.  Personalizing can be done with a "tag" to coordinate with your stocking.  Always something fun to work on around Christmas time!

Musical Mason

Something new!!!  A musical blankie!
I thought the little guitars and musical notes worked out great for baby Mason.  This could also easily made for a baby girl with hot pink guitars or music notes!!
